July 13th Watershed Council Meeting

The next meeting of the Watershed Council will be Thursday, July 13th from 9 am to 11:30am, at the Oak View Resource Center, 555 Mahoney Avenue, Oak View, CA 93022. This will be an important meeting that will require active participation from the Ventura River Watershed Council, the Leadership Committee, and the Leadership Executive Committee. Additional materials will be sent out next week, but please review the agenda and save the date.

Water Talk Tonight: Designing for Fish Passage and Instream Flow
Instream flow for steelhead has been a focus in our Ventura River Watershed Council Meetings. Come to learn about the strategies to enhance in-stream flow and how multi-benefit water infrastructure projects can enhance steelhead recovery in the Santa Clara River Watershed. Speakers will include:
Bill Trush, Humboldt State University
Tom Hicks, Hicks Law
Ed Wallace, Northwest Hydraulic Consultants
