I’m looking forward to our meeting tomorrow.
As an update, the agenda item with Kevin DeLano from the State Water Resources Control Board will be rescheduled to a later time. Kevin apologizes to the Council for cancelling his presentation. He is sick after a recent trip out of the country and unable to travel to Ventura. As a reminder, the State Water Board is soliciting comments on it’s Draft Geologic Analysis of the Ventura River Watershed. Please email comments to Kevin by Friday September 24. If you would like to learn more about the Geologic Analysis or discuss comments, please contact Kevin or attend the State Water Board’s next TAC meeting. The meeting’s purpose is to discuss the Draft Geologic Analysis, which can be found here: https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/waterrights/water_issues/programs/instream_flows/cwap_enhancing/. Jodi Switzer from the Farm Bureau of Ventura County has graciously swooped in for tomorrow’s meeting and will provide an update to the group regarding upcoming activities of the Ventura County Agricultural Irrigated Lands Group.
