The next meeting of the Ventura River Watershed Council is scheduled for Thursday, January 31st from 9-11:30 am. The meeting will be held at the Oak View Park and Resource Center located at 555 Mahoney Ave. in Oak View, CA.
The meeting will begin with an update from Kevin DeLano (State Department of Water Resources) on their Draft Study Plan for the Development of an Integrated Groundwater-Surface Water Model of the Ventura River Watershed. You can learn more about the project on their CA Water Action Plan Website
Following this presentation will be a working session to review and make recommendations for projects to be added to the Ventura County Integrated Regional Water Management Plan. Project proponents for 18 projects proposed for the Ventura River Watershed will give brief presentations on the project proposals.
