Are there projects or programs you want included in the WMP or the IRWMP?
The Watershed Council and its Technical Advisory Committees (TACs) have been working on developing a comprehensive list of projects and programs to be included in the Ventura River Watershed Management Plan (WMP) and the update to the Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRWMP), and a way of categorizing/prioritizing the big list into a more manageable one.
If there are any projects or programs you want to see included in the WMP or the IRWMP, the next step is very important for you.
Before the TACs meet again in May, we need know which projects/programs have project proponents or champions, and we need a little data and editing help from those proponents and champions.
The Proponent-Champion Instructions Memo describes exactly what is needed, and the project/program list can be found in the MAPP Spreadsheet v. 4-17-13.
We need to receive your input by Monday, May 6, in order to distribute the updated spreadsheet in advance of the May 14 & 15 TACs. Also, we’ll be making handouts of the draft list for our April 25 Watershed Council meeting, so any input received by April 23 will be included in that handout.
Thanks for your help!
