I am creating a separate “First Pass Draft Review” email distribution list that will include only those people interested in helping review early draft sections of the watershed management plan.
I’m creating this separate list, as we’ve got over 350 people on the main distribution list; many of whom have a general interest in the watershed, but I’m sure wouldn’t appreciate the number of “review draft” emails that need to be circulated in the coming months.
The purpose of this stage of review is to get input on “early draft/first pass” versions of sections of the plan. The draft plan that evolves out of this process will then be sent to the main distribution list. So everyone will still have the opportunity to weigh in on the draft plan.
Please respond to this email to let me know if you DO want to be included on this new list. Reviewers of all kinds are welcome, including those without any special expertise – we need to know how the plan reads to you as well. Experienced copy editors are especially welcome.
I’ve already added a number of names to this new “First Pass Draft Review” list, so you may find yourself getting emails even though you did not respond. If you’d rather not get them, just let me know. I will be as specific as possible in the subject line of the emails, so you can discern whether the content is relevant for you.
