June 19 Watersheds Coalition of Ventura County Meeting
The Watersheds Coalition of Ventura County (WCVC) is holding a General Membership meeting tomorrow, June 19, 9:30 to 11:00 am at the Ventura County Government Center, Hall of Administration, Multi-purpose room (3rd floor).
The WCVC will consider adoption of the 2014 Ventura County Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRWMP) update, which is an update to the WCVC’s 2006 IRWMP.
The WCVC IRWMP must be deemed compliant with the IRWMP standards by the Department of Water Resources in order for WCVC to obtain future funding in the Proposition 84 IRWM Grant Program, including the funding recently released in the 2014 Drought Solicitation.
