A new Rotary group is forming in Ojai that will focus on environmental-service projects in the Ventura River watershed. (Think trash pick-up, educational signs, restoration help, etc.) The new group needs to have 25 members to fully charter the Rotary EcoClub, and they are looking for interested participants.

The next meeting is this Thursday, February 16, at the Help of Ojai Campus at 370 Baldwin Road. When you get there follow signs to the Rotary Eco-Club meeting site. Brian Stark, Conservation Director of the Ojai Valley Land Conservancy, is the guest speaker at the upcoming meeting; he will be talking about the Ojai Meadows Preserve.
