The City of Ventura will host a free Composting and Urban Soils Class on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 – 11:30 am. The class will be held at the city’s Sanjon Maintenance Yard, 336 San Jon Road, Ventura. Learn how to create healthy backyard mulch, compost and worm castings from your food and yard waste to conserve water, reduce pesticides and revive urban soil.
